APPEARANCE
They are 23 inches(58 cm) tall and 75 pounds(34 kg) for female breed and 25 inches(64 cm) tall and 85 pounds(39 kg) for male breed. In rare cases the 45 kg Alaskan malamute are also seen. Their coat is a double coat. They have brown, blue and bi eyed. They are well knowned for their power and endurance. Colour's of a Alaskan malamute is usually various shades of grey and white, sable and white, black and white, seal and white, red and white and solid white. The Alaskan malamute's tail is well furred and carried over and look like a "waving plume". Their well furred tail keeps them warm when they curl up in the snow. They have a nose which is black with a pink undertone.

LONGEVITY & MORBIDITY
The Alaskan malamute have a life span of 15 years. The major cause of death of a Alaskan malamute is cancer and also their heart problems, kidney problems and skin disorders.
